This men’s necklace cord features a row of onyx beads, steeped in folklore and myth. As the myth goes, a vengeful Cupid shoots his arrow at Aphrodite, clipping off her fingernails. As they floated to the bottom of the river Indus, they turned into the smooth onyx beads we know and love today.
In Eastern traditions, onyx is believed to symbolize protection, inner strength, and focus.
The natural onyx stones are threaded on a surgical-grade stainless steel chain framed by gold-tone steel plates. Both the plates and the lobster claw clasp are colored using PVD coating. Titanium nitride is fused to the surface on a molecular level, making for a finish that’ll neither fade nor flake.
The cord is crafted from genuine cow leather that develops a handsome patina over time. Black, with a rugged woven texture that makes for a design you can pair easily with every ensemble. A discrete round plate dangles from one end of the lock, boasting the Lucleon logo.
