Titanium is named after the Titans of ancient Greek myth and before you start thinking this ring must be as heavy as a lumbering giant, know that titanium is almost half the weight of steel. This men’s ring is corrosion resistant, light as a feather, and tough as… well, titanium.

The black color of the carbon fiber pattern is accomplished using physical vapor deposition, a process that involves superheating titanium nitride to its plasma state and shooting it at the ring’s surface inside a vacuum chamber. The result is a super-thin ceramic layer that’s scratch resistant and durable, and will not flake over time. The PVD process is also more environmentally friendly than other coating and plating methods.
